This CD presents musical works by Aurelio Porfiri.

The Oratorio CORPUS DOMINI is a symphonic-choral oratorio divided in four parts: Coenantibus Autem Eis, Gustate et Videte, Ave Verum Corpus Natum, Veni Iesu Domine. Though it is an Oratorio, it can also be called a “Sacred Poem”, being more a spiritual narration around the mystery of the Eucharist than a historical narration, even if the latter is present in the first part, when the Historian (Tenor) narrates the institution of the Eucharist recalling the words said by Jesus (Bariton) in the last supper.
