The piece want to describe, in the free style of improvisation, the lively atmosphere of Senado Square, one of the most known historical places in Macau

“In this Dvd you will hear piano improvisations. This project came about while I was helping in the production of some documentaries. The movie director from Indonesia, Mr Onny Prihantono, needed some incidental music to serve as background music for the scens. Not having time to write the material, I proposed to do some piano improvisation. (…) When I sat at the piano, I did not have the slightest idea of what I was going to play. But in spite of this, my fingers began to communicate with my brain and the music started to flow…” Aurelio Porfiri
